Under the economic affairs of Starehe, I plan to
effectively improve all sectors of the economy i.e
small scale, medium scale and large scale
enterprises. In this way, we will be able to reach
all social classes and contribute to improving their
status and livelihoods in an effort to eradicate
poverty. By improving the businesses across the
board, we will be creating a better economy for
ourselves and our children.
We can easily reduce unemployment by improving the
attractiveness of our constituency to both local and
international investors. We also urgently need to
embrace new technologies both at policy development
and implementation stages. I will encourage new
innovative ideologies in an effort to expand the
scope of businesses undertaken within Starehe.
Religious Affairs
As a minister of the gospel, I promise to uphold
righteousness, accountability and the rule of law in
all affairs. I will continue providing spiritual
nourishment and guidance to my constituents and
pursue the establishment of religious institutions
across the board in an effort to create a more Godly
society.
Bringing In Real Change
Many of the problems faced by our people are as a
result of poor leadership in the past. A leadership
that is not dedicated to its people can not be able
to implement any real change. I promise to continue
being a people oriented leader and expanding the
ability of my people by addressing their issues from
the grassroots levels.
In the recent years, I have listened to my people
and their problems. I did not stop at just listening
neither did I impose my own solutions to their
problems. Like a good leader, I created a forum that
would allow them to make suggestions at how to best
tackle these problems.
I then approached professionals to make suggestions
that we could integrate with the opinions we had
collected from the grassroots. Such an approach has
created people oriented solutions to various
problems some of which we are already implementing.
I plan to expand this approach across Starehe over
my tenure as Member of Parliament because it is an
effective people oriented system.
Teach and equip women in business management and how
to start businesses whether small, medium or large
scale. This will also include young women.
