She worked hard in her pursuit
of a better future and by the time she was 18 years old,
she was paying her way through college by working
numerous jobs.
This discipline and determination to succeed resulted in
rapid promotions and various accomplishments as a sales
and Markketing executive for a multinational firm in the
city. She later went on to form her own business in the
city excelling both as an entrepreneur and single mother
to her two sons and one daughter.
Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru accepted the Lord Jesus
Christ as her saviour. A few years later she went into
full fledged Christian ministry.
TODAY
Thanks to her determination to serve the Lord and great
leadership skills, she is the founder and presiding
Bishop of Jesus Is Alive Ministries, (JIAM), in Nairobi,
Kenya.
Today, with one of the fastest growing churches in the
continent of Africa, JIAM is becoming a ministry to the
world, with offices in many nations, touching many
hearts, changing many lives through its various
departments.
Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru has been used mightily by
God:-
As a Teacher: To teach boldly the truth of God’s Word,
setting at liberty those who have been bound.
As an Evangelist: To bring thousands of souls into the
Kingdom of God and also revival to many nations.
As an intercessor: To teach people of God how to pray in
a manner that will change lives and nations ready for an
outpouring of the Holy Spirit through annual conferences
entitled ‘The school of Prayer.’
As a Television preacher: She has reached millions with
the Word of God thus transforming nations through the
programme ‘The Glory is Here.’
As an Author she has written many books and also
oversees a monthly magazine entitled ‘Faith digest'.
